Join KUPR for an intimate afternoon in the foothills of the Sandias for an afternoon of music, French themed food, a selection of wine and beer and a silent auction.
Albuquerque’s award-winning Indie Folk Français duo features singer-songwriter, guitarist, violist Alicia Ultan and singer-songwriter, accordionist Maryse Lapierre, who hails from Quebec, Canada. The group combines Lapierre’s French influences with Ultan’s original folk inspired “art” songs into a unique and engaging repertoire that highlights their signature harmonies. Adding to their already richly textured music is Micky Patten, an in-demand bassist and guitarist.

Bébé La La has earned multiple New Mexico Music Award nominations and awards including Ultan’s song “Rosie,” which won a Singer-Songwriter award. They are currently nominated for four New Mexico Music awards.
