Magic City Fly Fishers Trout Unlimited Chapter 582 Annual Banquet Fundraiser

Features:
  • Your support through the live auction, silent auction, raffles, and purchasing this banquet ticket supports many great, local projects including:
  • Uphold the mission of Trout Unlimited to conserve, protect, and restore coldwater fisheries and their watersheds throughout Montana and the Yellowstone ecosystem. Accomplishments include support for the protection of Yellowstone cutthroat trout against Lake Trout in Yellowstone Lake, removal of Brook Trout and expansion of spawning creeks in Soda Butte Creek near Cooke City, and protection of spawning habitat in the Pryor Mountains.
  • Youth projects, enabling a strong future of fly fishing, cold-water habitat, and strong conservation ethic, include Rocky Camp, a week-long camp at Rocky Mountain College for young people to learn conservation, entomology, casting and fly tying - plus go fishing. Your funds got scholarships and supplies. There are many club volunteers involved in planning and putting on this magnificent camp. MCFF volunteer reaches over 1,500 regional young people every year through a combination of FWP projects, elementary and middle school fly tying, Girl Scout Day Camp, high school fly fishing club, conservation districts, Audubon events, Boy Scouts, and much more, a lot more. This is a premier program worthy of all the support you can give it.
  • Access to public lands: an aggressive supporter of Public Lands Water Access (PLWA)
  • Casting For Recovery: volunteering and funding Casting For Recovery work with breast cancer survivors
  • Education: Monthly meetings, fly tying clinics, where and how to fish workshops, much more.
