Growlers Blues Band are based out of Buffalo, NY. The band delivers a powerful and unique blend of gut bucket blues, tempered with rock 'n roll sensibility. A combination that's winning over crowds nightly throughout WNY and beyond; Laying down grooves so deep….you can’t help but dance!

This tight ensemble is powered by Memphis-seasoned Dan Shurtleff on drums, fat, funky bass grooves by Steve Abbey, scorching guitar work by Rob Enderle, barrel house boogie woogie keys by Larry King , and Jon “Johnny Lew” Lewandowski’s gritty harmonica. Additionally, all of the members of the band offer their distinct vocals and harmonies to their eclectic mix of originals, modern, and classic blues tunes.

Members of The Growlers Blues Band have played Beale Street, The King Biscuit Blues Festival, the Natchez Blues Festival, and the Niagara Falls Blues Festival. The band has also recently been recognized with a second nomination for “Best Crossover Blues Band” by Buffalo Night-Life Music and Club Awards.
