Heralds of Hope Theater Company is premiering the play, “Harriet Tubman’s Road to Freedom.”   The original play, “Harriet Tubman: Defender,” produced in 2016, highlighted Harriet’s childhood,  escape and work on the Underground Railroad.  The second play, “Harriet Tubman: Fight for Freedom,” produced in 2017, revealed her work as a nurse and soldier for the Union Army.  While both plays will remain available in their original form, “Harriet Tubman’s Road to Freedom” presents key aspects of Harriet Tubman’s life in one play.
