Event Details

Story-telling is a magical Hawaiian tradition.  The O'ahu Choral Society Chamber Choir,  Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus and others tell the story of the Creation in this premiere of Herb Mahelona's Kinohi.  Hawaiian composer Herb Mahelona has spun an imaginative musical story in Hawaiian using traditional Hawaiian instruments.  This premiere will also feature hula and soloists.  Performed at the historic Kawaiaha'o Church and not to be missed!
