Join us for a musical and fun afternoon at Beth Shalom during the 13th Annual Cantor Sam and Mona Greenbaum Concert, this year featuring one fantastic musical group, Klezundheit, as well as a fantastic solo act, Aaron Lewis! We are proud to say that all performers call the Metro Detroit area home!

Music will begin at 4:00pm. Each performance will be 45 minutes long, with an intermission between the two to provide time to take part in a light dinner.

Cost for concert and light dinner is $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 4-12. Those 3 years old and younger are free of charge. Please use the ticketing link or call the Beth Shalom office at 248-547-7970 to respond and pay. Now for some information about our performers...

Klezundheit is a Detroit klezmer group organized in 2014 to play traditional and modern klezmer, gypsy, Balkan, and jazz music. The group is comprised of music educators, doctors, lawyers, and other professionals and avid music lovers from the area. Band members include Alan Posner, Ken Posner, Michelle Posner, David Reed, Glen Gardner, David Rodgers, Howard Collens, Ryan Shildcrout, Matt Adler, Aaron Klaus, David Lurie, and Gail Posner.

Aaron Lewis is a multi-instrumentalist, performer, and educator. He has won awards at the Clifftop Appalachian String Band Festival and at the Galax Old Fiddlers Convention, and he has performed at major festivals from the US to the UK and from Italy to Finland. He has appeared on dozens of recordings from bluegrass and old time to swing jazz, modern experimental and Turkish classical music projects. Aaron also plays and teaches banjo, mandolin, guitar, and bass.

If you are interested in contributing to this event and being named as a sponsor or patron of it, please feel free to send a message to Beth Rodgers at bethlrodgers@gmail.com, and she will put you in contact with the appropriate people.

Hope to see you there!
