God’s Work, Our Hands!
This year the Garden Ministry team turned a half-acre of ground into a space we can grow fresh food for the hungry in our community. The work continues. This year we broke ground, installed a fence to keep the deer out and a rain water harvesting system to keep the plants watered, built raised beds, and planted. Then we tended.
Now we are reaping what was sown and fulfilling our mission to help the hungry in our community by giving them fresh food grown in a space which had only been home to bramble and weed.
Next year, with your support, the Windy Ridge Community Garden Team will continue to do God’s work, with our hands.
