Come enjoy music whose primary purpose is to worship God.  This concert will benefit our Friday Night Youth Group.

 

Below is a list of artists that will be at the concert.

Carmen Rosa was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico.  She was reared in Hatillo, Puerto Rico.  Since the age of eight she has been singing in the Catholic Church.  She earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Recinto de Arecibo in Arecibo, PR.  She also studied Theatre in the Escuela de Bellas Artes Y Libre de Música in Arecibo, PR.  In 2004 she recorded her first album “Nuevo Amanecer.”  In 2009 she recorded her second album “Solo Por Estar Contigo.”  In 2011 she recorded “Me Diste Alas.”  Carmen Rosa has been interviewed by various media including Univision, Canal 13 Teleoro en Puerto Rico, Telemundo, Televisa in Mexico F.D., Univision Radio, Revicentro International Magazineand Radio Maria.  Carmen Rosa has also performed in Churches and other venues in the United States, Mexico and Puerto Rico.  One of her most notable accomplishments occurred in 2010 when she performed to a worldwide television audience in the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico. Ministerio de Alabanza Juan 3,16 is Spanish for the John 3:16 Ministry of Praise. In about 2006 they began with collaboration between John P Rivera (Keyboards) and Daniel Ramos (Director/Guitar). The current band was solidified with percussion by Eduardo Romero and Robert Garcia, and Carlos Miranda on bass.  They released their first album “Por Tu Inmenso Amor” in 2010.  For more information, please visit www.grupojuan316.com

 

Valerie Von Fange was born in Virginia and reared in California.  At the age of twelve she began her formal musical training with classical piano.  In 1983, she earned her Business degree from Pepperdine University.  In Nashville, she recorded and co-produced two original CDs based on the fullness of Christ's teachings. Valerie has performed on EWTN Backstage and Virginia Living Television. She has also been a featured artist/songwriter in Arlington Catholic Herald, National Catholic Register, Faith & Family Magazine, Grapevine Magazine, and on Catholic Music Express Radio.  For more information, please visit ValVonFange.com

 

Bound 4 Glory started in the summer of 1994, Bound 4 Glory began its journey with Richie Jimenez (vocals), Carlito Rosas (drums), Pablo LaFrossia (lead guitar), Rafael Perez (Guitar), and David Lugo (bass). Later on, Steve Sierra(bass) and Robert Spencer (drums) joined the band to continue the mission of spreading the Gospel though the sounds and power of rock music. Starting in the parish of Holy Cross (Bronx, NY), Bound 4 Glory moved on to witness through song and faith in various events and venues including the 1995 and 1996 Holy Cross Youth Experience retreats, LaSalle Academy in Pennsylvania, Canarise Brooklyn, and youth events at the St. Joseph’s Seminary (Yonkers, NY.) Bound 4 Glory produced their first Demo in 1998 and changed their sound to cater to the listening desires of the youth at the end of the decade. Rick Jenkins (bass, backing vocals)helped the band reach this point. Bound 4 Glory played at the legendary CBGB's (New York, NY) in Early 2000 as well as the Spiral Lounge, Acme Underground and the Black Thorn in the rock underground scene of lower Manhattan. Bound 4 Glory disbanded in mid-2000. They recently reunited in 2013.  RIchie Jimenez, Ralph Perez, Pablo LaFrossia, Robert W Spencer (drums)? and Patrick Dannenhoffer (Bass) are its current members.  This will be their second performance after their reunion.
