LOCATION: Private forest camping resort located in Sequoia National Forest, 90 miles East of Fresno.

GETTING THERE: Directions will be sent the week of the event. Plan for about a 4 hour drive from either San Francisco or Los Angeles. The nearest airport is Fresno. All vehicles should have an easy drive into this venue. We still do not recommend any lowered vehicles as some ground clearance issues can occur with uneven ground.

PARKING: Parking is free. You will be able to park a short walk from your camping area. Upon arrival the greeter will direct you to the camping and parking areas. Drive slow and cautiously.

LODGING: Tents are suggested for camping. No RVs or tow Campers allowed.

NO FIRES: No rogue fire-pits or unofficial fires are allowed.

FOOD/DRINK: Bring as much food, water, and other nourishment you would need to last the entire time at Slinky. If you are over 21, feel free to bring alcohol to enjoy with your camp and friends you meet that are also over 21 years of age.

We may also have some food available for sale during the gathering.

TRASH: Over the years we have all done a great job of cleaning up any trash that accidentally hits the ground. Do your part by picking it up if you see it. Don't let trash hit the ground if you can help it. Take the extra step to get it in a bag or take it back to your camp. We will also provide you with trash bags should you need them. Everyone can do their part and take responsibility for their own waste. Leave no trace.

SMOKING: No smoking will be allowed inside of the dance floor area. There will be signs reminding you of this. We will also have cigarette receptacles throughout the gathering for you in designated “Smoking areas” to place your butts. Respect the land and keep it clean so that we can continue to use it. Remember that cigarettes can start a fire.

SOUND: Funktion One Sound system provided by V.S. Sound - http://www.vs-sound.com/

NO ROGUE SOUND CAMPS ALLOWED

THEME CAMPS: Please let us know your theme camp name, idea and interactivity levels. We want everyone to meet everyone so make it inviting!

YOUNG OPEN MINDED ATTENDEES: We welcome our Slinky Friends to bring out their littler members of their family to enjoy what Slinky has to offer. If you are bringing your little folks with you to the gathering, please be prepared to deal with them on your own. This means entertaining them, caring for them and being responsible for them at all times. We do not have any daycare, babysitting or volunteers who will be watching your kids during this gathering. Children under 12 are free.
