The Southern Tier Jazz Festival is an outdoor live music event taking place on August 18, 2012 (rain or shine) at Thorne Street Park in Horseheads NY from 2-7pm.  Artists include local favorite contemporary jazz band Top Shelf, saxophonist Chad Lefkowitz-Brown (www.chadlefkowitz-brown.com), and vocalist Ronnie Leigh.  Headliner is contemporary jazz keyboardist Marcus Johnson (www.threekeys.com).  This first annual fundraising event features lawn seating, food and beverage provided by the EOP CFJP Bistro, wine provided by Glenora Wine Cellars, and a farmer’s market.  Proceeds benefit the Economic Opportunity Program, Inc. (www.cseop.org).
