The New Vintage Showcase presents:

THE LADYBIRDS

The Ladybirds masterfully balance a mean juggling act. The Louisville, KY-based five-piece -Jaxon Swain, Max Balliet, Anthony Fossaluzza, Brett Holsclaw, and Sarah Teeple, articulately summons greasy garage rock and lush Spector pop sans kitsch or tribute act fluff. Their main influences are the years 1954 to 1973, when it was just about fun and swingin’ grooves, not the droll, heavy-handed, over-serious approach to songwriting oft employed in the contemporary American underground.

VANNA INGET (Sweeden)

Another in the long line of great Swedish punk bands coming out now! Melodic, urgent and at times meloncholic. Singer Karolina has a intense, crystal clear voice that coupled with the rest of the band recall's elements of early California punk like the Avengers and more modern counterparts like Vicious, Masshysteri, Terrible Feelings or the Bombettes. Their Debut album "Alvar" has been released in cooperation with P.Trash Records, Punks Only and 1-2-3-4 Go! Records.

RAMBOS (Chicago)

In conclusion, Rambos is not only a close friend when you need one, but also a way to live your life. They can give the voiceless public a soapbox to stand on and shout to the heavens, even in these dark times. Even if they don't explicitly say that they're against late term abortions, you know they have an opinion. Rambos may or may not like your new brother-in-law, but you just know they can drop him down a few pegs if things get out of control. You might have seen a Rambo fall down drunk in an alley face first while urinating, but it was done with the class of a gentleman.

SHE MIGHT BITE

She Might Bite is a three-woman band who are all scorpios born in the year of the horse. They are big fans of Clarissa Pinkola Estes "Women Who Run With the Wolves," and they have found inspiration in performers like Alison Mosshart, Exene Cervanka, Warpaint, and Chaka Khan just to name a few. Tara and Kathryn met as neighbors and started playing together in 2010. Miranda joined a year later which led to the band recording a full length album, to be called "Feral." Plans to release
