Nick Kolhida and Friends present to you a delightful Opera Recital featuring an exciting array of classical pieces performed in 6 different languages.
The intimate afternoon will feature classical arias by Mozart, Verdi, Belini, Rossini, Bizet and Paliashvili. Additionally there will be a dynamic mix of English art songs and Russian romances.

Nick Kolhida's Biography:
The "Red Ruby Bass," Nick Kolhida was born in Tbilisi Georgia in 1993 and migrated to America in 1999. He was raised by a family of Opera singers and for this reason Opera became his overall nature. As a young child, Nick would be at his parents side as they professionally performed at various professional venues and competitions. Unknowingly, he was absorbing all of these teaching and experiences. Nick has a unique range, control and beauty of his voice as well as his outstanding acting abilities. Nick has performed multiple times at Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall and many other acclaimed performance venues. He has studied with many honorable voice teachers; Mark Oswald, Svetlana Strezeva, and Mikhail Svetlov. Presently he is studying in Tbilisi State Conservatory with respectable Gocha Bejuashvili as his voice teacher. Nick continues to excel in his career and finds outstanding achievements by ongoing professional development.
