Kinetics Dance Theatre’s Apprentice and Student Dance Companies will present “Spectrum” on Saturday, April 16th at the Howard County Center for the Arts. “Spectrum” will feature a variety of contemporary dance styles such as Modern, Jazz, Musical Theatre and more.
The show will carry you through an array of emotions that will be sure to leave a lasting impression. Experience depth in “Stone Cold,” choreographed by Meagan Singleton, a solo delving into the depths how it feels to loose someone important to you in your life. The solo will be performed by Teresa Whittemore, a member of our Apprentice Company who will be pursuing a degree in dance upon graduation this Spring. The performance will also feature humor in “Mama Said,” choreographed by Alex J. Krebs, a group piece which explores the trials of Monday mornings. Experience passion, hope, and a whole lot of fun as the companies present a full scope of contemporary dances, ideal for children and adults!
Kinetics Dance Theatre is devoted to the development of contemporary dance as a vital art form within the community through performance, education, and outreach. Kinetics Apprentice and Student Companies are directed by Becca Sigmund, Alex J. Krebs, Erin Gum, and Meagan Singleton. The companies are comprised of 38 dancers in grades fourth through twelfth.
