Wilcox County Triple “B” Reunion Festival

FRIDAY - Tailgate Party and Blues Show

Friday, October 2nd with the Tailgate Party with DJ Bookie Tee and Blues Show featuring Jwon, Big YaYo and the Showstoppers. Also on this big show; Toia Jones, Will Easley, the JOUS Band and Falisa JaNaye…. Local performance by Chico the Great with his HOT new singles “She Cheated” and “Let Her Go” and even more artists to perform at the after party in the park. Bring your tents, grills, coolers and chairs for the largest tailgate in Wilcox County history. (This Is An Adults ONLY Event)

Friday, October 2nd: Tailgate and Blues Party in the Park
-3:00 PM - Gates Open (Setup your tents and grills)
-5:00 PM - Tailgate Party (Live DJ and Performances) 
-7:00 PM - Blues Concert (Six Bands and Bonus Performances) 
-After Party Optional (Remain in the park with Live DJ or Official After Party at B and R Lounge - Free with Weekend Festival Pass)

SATURDAY - Apollo in the Park

Saturday, October 3rd. festival kicks off with the alumnus parade (sign your class up today) followed by the People’s Choice BBQ Cook-off ($1500 in Cash Prizes), Car Show featuring the Wilcox Riders (Cash Prizes in each category), Horse Show with the Extreme Riders of Gees Bend, Kids Fun Zone (Bouncers, gameroom and more), Live Music by Kaitlin Hill the 15 year old music sensation and Apollo in the Park with special performances by local artists J-Fire, Chico the Great and Teddy Tee.

Apollo in the Park feature competitions in Dance, Comedy, Singing and Stepping. Cash prizes award to top act in each category and grand prize to the best overall.

Fun and entertainment for the entire family.

-10:00 AM - Gates Open (Setup your tents. NO GRILLS)
-11:00 AM - Alumni Parade (Enter Your Class with vehicle, etc)
-12:00 PM - BBQ Cook-Off (You will be able to sample and vote on BBQ from all BBQ competitors)
-1:00 PM - Live Music by 15 year old music sensation Katlin Hill
-2:00 PM - Horse Show, Car Show, Dance Competition
-4:00 PM - Step Show and Competition
-7:00 PM - Apollo in the Park (Over 30 acts and Special Performances)

SUNDAY - Praise in the Park

-2:00 PM - Gates Open (Setup your tents and Grills)
-4:00 PM - Program Starts

Praise in the Park is designed to encourage our youth through music and messages. We need you to come back to the park on Sunday and bring a child with you from your community. It's our goal to get over 2000 boys and girls in the park on Sunday to hear from motivational speakers from across the country and great gospel music for over twelve gospel groups and entertainers. We also encourage your class to bring back the grills, tents and chair to relax and enjoy each other on the final day of the festival.

Praise in the Park will feature performances by national recording artists Pamela Crawford formally of the Chicago Mass Choir and Everett Drake of Bobby Jones Gospel.
