The Fly Fishing Film Tour is brought to Boone, NC by the Appalachian State University Fly Fishing Club,  The Foscoe Fishing Company, and Appalachian Mountain Brewery.

Advance tickets are $10 General Admission

Tickets available at:

In person from M-F 9am-5pm; by phone (add a $2 charge for entire order); or order online (add a $2.50 charger per ticket).

Doors open at 5:00pm to allow time for patrons to wander through the lobby at the Schaefer Center where our fishy folk and non-profit conservation groups will have info tables, local live music will be playing, and light food and drinks can be purchased at the concessions and bar area (proudly serving Appalachian Mountain Brewery beers). Also, local artists who work on fishing and water related artwork will be on hand to show off and sell their work as well. From 7:00-9:15pm: F3T films will be shown with a 15 minute intermission half way through the two hours of combined films. Afterwards, there is a little time to talk with our vendors and doors close at the event by 10pm.

Proceeds for this event will benefit the ASU Fly Fishing Club which teaches students to fly fish, appreciate, protect and restore our natural cold water resources, and foster a love of the sport in others.  Follow them on Facebook for updated information on their Chapter.

The Club supports Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc™ which is dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing including education and outings.  The new Camp Healing Waters will provide a multi-day experience in the High Country designed around the non-profit PHWFF mission (learn more at https://www.projecthealingwaters.org/). It will provide attendees the opportunity to find rehabilitation through fly fishing, fly tying, and other associated activities. This new camp is an effort made possible through a partnership between Project Healing Waters, Trout Unlimited, Chetola, the ASU Fly Fishing Club, and the Appalachian Mountain Brewery.

If you would like to get involved in the F3T please contact: Dr. Shea Tuberty at tubertysr@appstate.edu or (828) 263-2443
