Opening acts start at 7:00 or a little later. "No holds barred" bare fisted guitar playing follows by soon to be local legend Jordan Smith, AKA "Jordan and His Stupid Silly Songs. PLAYING FIRST: JORDAN SMITH Jordan has free music downloads on Bandcamp, see link at bottom of this event. He describes his music as alternative folk-rock. It might also be called folk punk, but whatever it is called it's good. He works his fingers to the bone and has the vocal chops to back it up. If you like artists such as Conor Oberst or Jim James, then you'll probably like Jordan's Music. PLAYING SECOND: JOEL COLLINSWORTH Joel plays under the name Original Mechanical Mouse. He is a singer-songwriter whose music has been compared to Bon Iver and Fleet Foxes by the famous rock music historian Alan Cross* Joel plays a few shows a year in Madison and Chicago and a few here in Rockford. He has music on Bandcamp and is also on Pandora radio.
