The Little Flower

Join The Picture House and Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum on Tuesday, November 11th at 7:00 pm for a performance of the one-man show, The Little Flower, on stage at The Picture House.

Written by, directed and starring acclaimed actor Tony Lo Bianco, The Little Flower is an educational, inspirational, and comedic look into the life  of three-time New York City Mayor Fiorello La Guardia—a vibrant personality who, in 1936, made Bartow-Pell  his “summer city hall.”

Lo Bianco won an Obie Award for Best Actor in Yanks-3, Detroit-0, Top of the 7th and the Outer Critics Circle Award for his performance as Eddie Carbone in Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge on Broadway. One of Lo Bianco’s best-known film performances is as Sal Boca in the five-time Academy Award-winning film The French Connection with Gene Hackman and Roy Scheider.
