“Coalition Kick-Off Double Feature”
to be Held October 25, 2014 in Fort Jones. The Scott Valley Film Coalition is devoted to promoting film, video, media production, education and advocacy. The coalition is a creative collaborative made up of industry professionals and individuals who share a passion for fostering a creative arts community in Scott Valley and surrounding Siskiyou County.

The newly formed Scott Valley Film Coalition is pleased to announce its inaugural event will be a double feature showing of two films with strong ties to Siskiyou County. The Coalition Kick-Off Double Feature, to be held at the Resource Event Center located at 11236 N. Hwy 3 in Fort Jones, will feature the Telly award winning documentary AFTERGLOW and the beautiful and thrilling award-winning feature film shot entirely in Scott Valley and Yreka HEATHENS & THIEVES.
Show times are 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Tickets for each double feature are $10.00 and may be purchased at the door, online at www.scottvalleyfilm.org or by calling 530-468-2888. HEATHENS & THIEVES stars Don Swayze of True Blood and CSI, and brother of the late Patrick Swayze, along with fellow star Gwendoline Yeo (Desperate Housewives and the Emmy award-winning Broken Trail) and the up and coming Andrew Simpson. This thrilling epic tells the story of 1871 California where guns and greed disrupt the serenity of the small gold rush community of Orofino.
