A Fun Filled Evening With a 3 Part Show!

"Love Letters" (World class play that has been performed on Broadway and all around the world)

These two amazing actors will first do a play written by A.R. Gurney called “Love Letters.” This is a play about two people who grew up together and went their separate ways, yet maintained a 50-year love affair through writing letters. This play has been done by almost every pair of good actors including Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman and now Maggie Peterson and Ronnie Schell.

Ronnie Schell - “Duke Slater”

The second part of the show will be done by Ronnie. He spends a great deal of his time today as a stand-up comedian at Harrah’s in Las Vegas, Palm Springs, and Lake Tahoe! Ronnie is a world class comedian and he knows how to make people laugh. Many will remember Ronnie from Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C. He was “Duke Slater” and he played a major part in keeping Gomer in trouble with Sergeant Carter. He also was in two Andy Griffith Show episodes as a fur salesman, and a TV producer for Fosters Furniture Polish.

Maggie Peterson - “Charlene Darling”

The final part of the show will be Maggie (Charlene) singing our favorite songs that she sung in Mayberry, including “There Is A Time.” Maggie is America’s sweetheart and when you have the chance to see her in person, you will be transformed back in time to a place called Mayberry!
