The First Lady Charlotte

We all are familiar with her famous husband, but do we know who Vanessa Long is? Obsidian Media Group’s Lawrence Floyd re-imagines’ what it may have been like had she left her husband. Vivian (Rozlyn Sorrell) leaves her millionaire husband Bishop Kurtis Mitchell to start a new life. She comes across a little church  headed by Pastor Cato (Roderick A. Warner) and his judgmental wife Marlena (C. Kelly Wright), her best friend First Lady Cutter (Me-Me Cowans) along with a very diverse congregation which includes a very effeminate man (3 Mo’ Tenors Ken Alston, Jr.), a very masculine girl (Pamela Reed-Winstead)  a member with a special love for the Pastor (Radio personality Melissa Wade) and other interesting types (Gabrielle Smith, comedian Lowray Bartney  and Angie Guilford) But when the love of Marlena’s life re-enters the picture, (Terrell Phillips from Backstreet and Tyler Perry’s “Meet the Browns”) she goes from condemning to condemned. When all is said and done, she asks the audience, “Do you have a stone or a prayer for me?”
